The Challenge
A homeowner in Co. Wexford had an existing Solar PV system but was still paying full-price electricity to charge their new electric vehicle. They wanted to integrate a smart charger that would prioritise charging from solar generation rather than the grid.
The AH Electrical Solution
- Supplied and installed Zappi smart EV charger on external wall
- Configured solar-first charging mode — prioritises surplus PV generation automatically
- Consumer unit circuit added for dedicated EV supply
- Full SEAI grant documentation prepared and submitted
- RECI Completion Certificate issued
