A farm in Co. Kilkenny needed their existing five-bar timber entrance gates automated. The rural location meant limited mains infrastructure at the entrance and required a reliable, weatherproof installation suited to agricultural use.
The AH Electrical Solution
- Laid SWA armoured cabling from farmyard supply board to gate entrance
- Installed DEA swing arm motor on single-leaf farm gate
- Erected safety photocell posts on both sides of the entrance
- Fitted GSM controller — gate opens via simple phone call or fob
- Weatherproof IP-rated enclosures throughout for agricultural environment
