The Challenge
The client wanted to automate their existing timber swing gates on a residential property in Co. Wexford. Limited mains power access at the entrance and the need for underground cable routing presented additional site challenges that required in-house groundworks capability.
The AH Electrical Solution
- Excavated and laid underground armoured cabling from mains supply to gate entrance — all in-house groundworks, no subcontractors
- Installed CAME surface-mounted swing gate motors on both gate leaves
- Fitted safety photocells and safety edges meeting I.S. EN 12453 requirements
- Integrated GSM controller for remote phone-call gate opening
- Completed PSA compliance and force testing on both leaves
